Serendipitous Strings offers a variety of harp and string ensembles in Houston that can compliment any event. We offer classical music, current hits, favorite classics, movie music, Broadway selections and more. Our repertoire is constantly growing and we are happy to accommodate special requests from our clients. We perform for weddings, special events, quinceaneras, funerals, house recitals and more.
What Harp and String Ensemble Should I Choose?
We offer harp solo and harp/violin duet. Harp solo is versatile and provides the warm atmosphere that the harp is loved for. The modern-day harp has a large volume range and is suitable for almost all venues. Harp/violin offers an intertwining of different layers of sound and the unique energy that an ensemble provides. If you can't decide between harp or string music, then perhaps a harp and string ensemble is just right for you.

Abigail Sliva is a professional Houston musician who received her doctorate degree from the Moores School of Music and her undergraduate and masters degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She has performed and taught professionally for the past 10 years. In her free time, Abigail enjoys spending time with her husband and reading.

Luke Sliva is a professional Houston musician who received his bachelors degree in music education from Depaul University. He is currently a head orchestra director in Cy-fair ISD and has been performing professionally for the past 10 years. In his free time, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife and learning to play the accordian.
